Anonymous: the cartoons Marvel deals out are often inspired by a sense of "semi-continuity" with the movies but that often makes them feel cheap and often too casual with "canonicity", widely altering relationships/events without even explaining them and/or contraddicting those that happened in the comics. Dont you think that things should not "cross mediums", given how different the three media are, and focus on telling the best stories you can on their own?

It seems to me that what you’re saying here is that the animation should draw from the comics (or, even more specifically, the comics that you like) and not from the films (or, again, not in ways that you don’t like.) And that’s a perfectly valid individual position for you to hold as one viewer.

By that same note, though, more potential viewers are familiar with these characters and their relationships from the films by far than from the comics, so it is only natural, especially given that animation and film are more related media than animation and comics, for them to draw some inspiration from them.

That all said, to my experience, the animation department does exactly what you ask for in your final statement–they take the best of what works for them in any other medium and adapt it to what works best for the shows that they’re doing.

…Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was 100% comics-inspired. And Ultimate Spider-Man isn’t based on movies. Like. Spider-Man wasn’t even IN the MCU until this year. If you don’t like AA then watch A:EMH or Ultimate Spider-Man or something.

Just because you don’t like that Avengers Assembled draws a certain small degree of inspiration from the films (mostly in a few specific character designs, because show me what movie it was that Tony got de-aged and the team all got bodyswapped and Sam Wilson was a young SHIELD engineer still kinda living with his mom, the ultimate badass, because I DON’T REMEMBER SEEING THAT IN ANY OF THE MOVIES, BUT IF IT HAPPENED THEN SIGN ME THE FUCK UP) doesn’t mean that literally all the cartoons take inspiration from the films.
